Try using Multibeast 5 to install FakeSMC and FakeSMC Motherboard Plugins onto your installer USB drive.

Oh, and one thing I just noticed while dealing with my own ML install issues, I had trouble booting directly from my USB stick. However, I was able to run the installer by first booting from one of my drives with Chimera already installed, then selecting the Installer USB from that boot loader.
