Quick question, will this guide apply to the 34010 i3 version of the NUC? There's one at a local shop near me that's screaming for me to grab it.

Well some of it will be different. The graphics on that are HD4400 instead of HD5000, P-states would be different, and of course there is no Turbo Boost on that model CPU.

I *think* the rest of the hardware is identical though, so it probably would work but with a different graphics definition. I've never used the HD4400 graphics so can't say if it would be very good or not.

I am almost 100% sure that no one with a 3410 have tried this. But I would be surprised if if it does not work with some minor modifications since the i3 have a slightly different built in graphics.

Agreed. I think it would likely work with small changes.

Edit : The bios update file is the same for both models, so the DSDT should have a good chance of working the same too.

The results are looking much cleaner there, but for a single error message :

Compiles clean on my Maciasl....not much else i can do....

Oh I have it now. You're compiling on ACPI 4.0 and not ACPI 5.0.

I get the same when on ACPI 4.0

I will start planning to add the HDMI and DSDT stuff to the guide

Just out of interest, do you happen to know how to apply the AHCI Controller patch ?

Oh I have it now. You're compiling on ACPI 4.0 and not ACPI 5.0.

and all there is on 5.0 is remarks anyway....

Thx for the response. It should be do-able. The i5 versions in Canada are selling quick. Maybe better to spend a little extra and get the 5000 graphics. Will think this one over....
