Hi everyone. I installed 10.6.3 and updated to 10.6.8. I tried using the DSDT from the database but could not get the system to boot. Patching it with EasyBeast however, did work.
Unfortunately, I cannot boot without the iBoot CD and, more importantly, once I do boot I cannot install any applications. Whenever I download a file I run into a "Cannot mount disk image" error. While I don't necessarily mind having to use iBoot, I obviously need to be able to install applications.
Has anyone run into this problem before and been able to solve it? Any ideas?
Any help would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!
