Tried all this, thanks.maybe reseting the FW device to factory defaults also helps
- I would detach the fw interface cable from from pc
- uninstall FW kexts from all companies and types
- disable SIP
- restart, 2x nvram reset
- re-install your fw drivers
- enable SIP,
- restart, 2x nvram reset
- login and see if sys prefs telling something about legacy extensions
- shut down
- attach firewire, turn on pc
but its also likely that there is something wrong in your OC EFI or config
Would there be any chance I could have a look at your EFI and config.plist?
