<< Solved >> FireWire Audio Interface MacOS 13 (Maybe work on real Intel and Silicon mac)

  1. I would detach the fw interface cable from from pc
  2. uninstall FW kexts from all companies and types
  3. disable SIP
  4. restart, 2x nvram reset
  5. re-install your fw drivers
  6. enable SIP,
  7. restart, 2x nvram reset
  8. login and see if sys prefs telling something about legacy extensions
  9. shut down
  10. attach firewire, turn on pc
maybe reseting the FW device to factory defaults also helps

but its also likely that there is something wrong in your OC EFI or config

So went ahead with the Saffire MixControl-3.9.3168_0.dmg install and all seemed to go well, asking for authorising, etc, and then rebooted.

Same FW as above in system settings but still not working?
