Re: DSDT Database: Gigabyte Sandy Bridge 1155 AVAILABLE NOW!

Thx Tony.
Just tried it on my GA-P67A-UD4-B3 (F4) and it`s working great.
Do you think that there`s a way to get Hot Swap on e-SATA ports working tweaking the DSDT.aml

Stradivari did it on his Asus P8P67 Pro
viewtopic.php?f=79&t=19543
That would be very nice

Re: DSDT Database: Gigabyte Sandy Bridge 1155 AVAILABLE NOW!

I confirm that ga-h67m-ud2h-b3-F4 rev.1.0 works like a charm :) Sleep works at last, and audio works without non-DSDT hda enabler.

The only issue left is that, chimera can't boot windows 7 installation which is on a seperate hdd. Chimera only shows windows C: disk in boot menu not the 100 mb system reserved partion and I get a "Bootmgr missing" error. Windows 7 hdd also use GPT not mbr.

But its a different story anyway :)

Thanks to all your great works.

Look in user builds forum for my build, I'll probably be posting latter today/tomorrow a whole indepth guide to our board. Truth be told we don't seemingly need a DSDT for anything! It'll be a PDF thats a few pages long with everything you need to get up and running perfectly :)

If you don't mind me asking, do you have sleep running fine?

Thanks for the catch- turns out Gigabyte has put different Realtek ALC versions (ALC 892 and ALC 889) in the 1.0 and 1.1 versions of the P67A-UD3-B3.

I just added a version for each.

So the one that was there was set up initially for 1.1 (ALC 889). If it didn't work, odds are yours is 1.0.

This fixed my last remaining gripe about using non-DSDT Enablers
Works like a charm now. Thanks guys. (And this explains why only the ALC 892 kext worked on my [ver 1.0] MB before)
