Buggy DSDT Asus Q501LA, help needed!

any luck? Been trying to get this to work for 2 days, no luck. Graphics still showing iris 5100 @ 7mb vram, qe/cl clearly not working.

Oh God no. I tried for a few hours that night with absolutely no success so I went back to 10.10.1.

For anyone that might stumble on to this searching for this laptop...

I have deposited the DSDT/SSDT patches necessary to run 10.10.2 using the FakePCIID kexts at

https://github.com/gvkt/Asus-Q501LA-Hackintosh

as a fork of the original repository that provided an excellent means to run Yosemite on this Q501LA series laptops.

More info on what was needed in the Wiki of that repository fork.

I had no significant issues updating to 10.10.3 using the files on https://github.com/gvkt/Asus-Q501LA-Hackintosh. Just had to restore my audio kexts.

Hello, sorry to bother you FLP, I have an ASUS Q501LA with Yosemite 10.10 with this guide https://github.com/gvkt/Asus-Q501LA-Hackintosh and almost everything is working, except for the internal mic, I can see it but is not working, and the keyboard backlit (not important).
Can you please help me with the audio problem (the output is ok), I read you had to restore your previous audio kexts.
