Thanks for your help.

I was able to delete remove S/L/E/FakeSMC.kext/Contents/Plugins/OemSMBIOS.kext but I still get the KP when I boot DSDT=null

Boot with the -f flag to force OSX to rebuild the cache.

Null....try with a CAP and see if that helps. I think they are case sensitive.

DSDT=Null

It worked after the second reboot!

DSDT=null or Null worked.

Now I wish I had a working DSDT file!

When should I extract my DSDT for editing?

Thanks

The name of the file is HDAEnabler898.kext

Will remove it and try your new DSDT.

You can try the DSDT that Digikid is using.. but you can extract yours anytime and attach to the post. I'll edit it for you.

To ensure the cache gets rebuilt, you might want to go into MB and install the audio kext under the 'with DSDT' section, after deleting the 898Enabler.

It wont let me upload my DSDT file. It says it is too big. Can I email it to you? Thanks

and we are good to go I guess. Audio, Sleep, Wake, Networking ( through Kext helper ) and HD4000, and USB 3.0 ( 95% working through Kext Helper) working.

You will have to use the Mac Mini Profile in Multibeast to get Airplay working with an AppleTV.

Now tempted to reformat for the last time and do this cleanly using this latest DSDT and kext helper.
