Audio device-id is not the same as layout-id. layout-id is an arbitrary choice on the part of the person who created the patched AppleHDA. You need to inject the correct layout-id and have "IRQ Fix". Miss one detail and it won't work and shouldn't be expected to to work.



No idea. Perhaps it depends on the patches you applied to your DSDT.

Make sure you applied the correct DSDT patches. Also, make sure you do not install a rollback IOAudioFamily.

Any chance of updating it to yosemite? I can't get to the loading screen of the installer
