Always great to see an updated buyer's guide. Do any of these builds allow for DRM-protected HD Video to play through iTunes? Ever since building my GA-Z87MX-D3H system, I've lost the ability due to HDCP errors.

@flicka: Success! Everything is working perfectly now. Sleep, Restart, Sound, Graphics, Ethernet, I even logged into iMessage and iCloud without issue. This old Quad-Core Desktop just got a few more years of good use thanks to you. Nice new avatar, by the way. Thanks for all of your help!

Thanks, I thought it over and I'm going to get a replacement. I checked the error messages in windows and Mavericks, and both seem to be related to DISK-I/O. Maybe the chipset is faulty? Amazon is awesome for exchanges and refunds, BTW.
