Hello! I've been away for a work project for over a month and now that I'm (finally) back, I'm ready to finish my build:

This is the first PC I've built for myself since 2008. I've been building computers since the days of 486 and Pentium, and I've been building hackintosh systems since 2007. so feel free to let your geek flag fly! Right now, I'm eyeballing this Asrock motherboard:

The X79 Extreme4-M Motherboard seems to be the most compatible, but the offerings for this socket at mATX form-factor are extremely limited. MSI and ASUS also have Socket 2011 offerings in mATX, but both appear to be fairly loaded with proprietary integrated components that would require specialized hardware to work under Mac OS X. My ultimate goal is a Hexacore system inside a PowermacG4, so if there's another way to go about doing this without a lot of compromise, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Does anyone have experience with a mATX Socket 2011 setup?
