Hi Middleman,

thanks!
i'll try and see how it goes...

Just follow my guide...yes remove the card first to do the install that way and check your BIOS making sure they are the same as mine in the pictures.

1) Once you've made the changes in BIOS (ie. changing XHCI to AUTO not Enabled, Preboot XHCI Detection Enabled, EHCI to Enabled, Intel Virtualisation Enabled, VT-d off, AHCI Enabled etc - please check the pics for correct settings) make sure your main destination install drive sits on Port0 of your SATA setup, extra HD/DVD drive on Port1. Plug in USB keyboard at the back or front USB 2.0 ports.

2) Plug your monitor into DVI port on the back of the main motherboard and turn it on.

3) Stick your Unibeast USB stick into a USB 2.0 port

4) Boot from Unibeast with -v -x and go through install process. Format the main drive as GPT, Macintosh Journaled Format

5) Once you've made the install, keep the Unibeast key in the slot and reboot. Chameleon should come up afterwards.

6) From there, press left/right arrow key and reboot into your new OSX install with -v -x again. It should boot into it.

7) Once it is ok, run Multibeast 5.1.3 and select USERDSDT, Realtek Without DSDT ALC898, hNak's Intel1000ESD network, and whichever ATI driver you need for your system.

8)Change org.chameleon.Boot.plist in /Extras of your OSX HD with Kernel Flags as:
GraphicsEnabler=No PCRootUID=0
Also remove darkwake=0 from the kernel flag like this:

<dict>
<key>EthernetBuiltIn</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>GenerateCStates</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>GeneratePStates</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>GraphicsEnabler</key>
<string>No</string>
<key>Kernel</key>
<string>mach_kernel</string>
<key>Kernel Flags</key>
<string>PCIRootUID=0</string>
<key>Legacy Logo</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>Timeout</key>
<string>2</string>
<key>UseKernelCache</key>
<string>Yes</string>
</dict>
</plist>

9) Shutdown the PC. Reinstall your AMD card into system, connect the DVI cable in and reboot into BIOS.

10) Set in BIOS iGPU memory to 64mb and save it.

11) Reboot

It should all work!

hi middleman,

can i use Multibeast 5.2.1 instead?

There's a reason why I specified 5.1.3 because it works. I've heard 5.2 and 5.2.1 may be a bit buggy hence am being cautious. But you're welcome to try them...
