FakeSMC????

Do you have FakeSMC if not im thinking thats what it is. Oh and can you post a step by step guide on how to get this motherboard working on mountain lion

Went back and did a complete redo of installation last night. Everything turned out GREAT!!. Rewrote the instructions in first post.

Changed RAM profile to XMP 1 per TonyMacs suggestion and geekbench went from 13200 to 14849

I'm a noob at this and i'm trying my first hackintosh.....i got sabertooth z77 too....

but i don't know how to do this step:

10. Made copies of and then deleted NullCPUPowerManagement.kext and AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext.

can you explain in a noobish way how to do that :p ?

what changes did you made to the MB bios?

thanks a lot

After installing MultiBeast - go to System/Library/Extensions and delete NullCPUPowerManagement.kext and AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext.

Then use KextBeast to install the downloaded AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext from the post i left behind.

Restart and G2G...

So if i got this right this is what my MultiBeast is supposed to look like (FYI I have a Gigabyte Radeon HD 6870)

1.)EasyBeast
2.)System Utilities
3.)Device Injector + AppleHDARollback + NonDSDT Enabler 892
4.)Trim Enabler
5.)ElliottForceLegacyRTC
6.)FakeSMC + FakeSMC Motherboard + AMD Radeon + HW
7.)NullCPU + USB 3.0
8.)10.7.4 Power Management
9.)hnak's Intel Ethernet
10.)Chimera
11.)iMac 12.1

Then after i come here and download Chimera 1.11 and install it. After this i'm a little confused.
