Hi, I have an Alienware m17x r3. I do not have UEFI mode. just a normal BIOS.
I just installed Mavericks, but I had black screen for an 1 hour when I boot with my USB.
I still successfully installed Mavericks on my computer. the problem is now, that the bootloader doesn't show up, even when I installed it with multibeast. I installed it to my HDD. What could be the problem?

Should I use something else than multibeast? The default bootloader that shows when I boot from USB is Clover.

What happens when you boot from your HDD?

it's just starting windows 7. I have 1 partition for my mac os x and 1 partition for my windows 7. It's on the same HDD.

So there is no way to fix this, unless I buy the things in the link?

Sorry, I saw suggestion 2. I will try suggestion 1.
Thanks. Will get back if I have any problem

Do I have to make a fresh install again with Unibeast? I already have mavericks on my hdd and I can boot into it with my usb. can't I just use the terminal there?

No. That part should be read as "review."

Read/follow the instructions carefully. You must boot into the OS X installer and use Terminal there to accomplish this task.

Ok, correct me if I'm mistaking. I'm going to boot to OSX with my USB. then when I get into my OSX, I need to install bootloader with multibeast. then I restart my computer and boot into my OSX with USB and unmount the drive where I installed the OSX and run terminal and write: dd if=/usr/standalone/i386/boot1h of=/dev/disk0s2

?
