Yosemite won't boot from HDD on XPS 8500

Here is a picture of where it freezes when using "-v" when booting from the USB device. It says something about the SuperSpeed device, I assume that's my USB 3.0 WD external HDD, not having enough power. Should I unplug it and try again?
I have unpluged all of my unnecessary USB devices (apart from my USB mouse and keyboard) booted again and now it stops at this...

I only have OS X on my PC. I can only boot into OS X using the USB as when I try to boot into OS X using the HDD, I get that Windows error. Do you want me to boot into OS X using my USB with the "-v" and no other boot flags?

If you have only OS X on your HDD, then how it is showing the Windows Boot Manager error message? Because while installing OS X you have to use GUID Partition Table (GPT) on your HDD and need to format the volumes as Mac OS Extended (Journaled). So in this time all previous datas and windows files (if it was installed earlier) will be removed from the HDD.

Have you used the Unibeast/Clover bootable USB along with pure Yosemite installation package (No Modification after download from AppStore) which is downloaded from AppStore??

Does MultiBeast only work when booting in normal mode, not in safe mode, as that is what I'm having to use at the moment to boot into it.

I am failing to understand what you are trying to ask through the above sentences.

For booting from your HDD you have to install Multibeast (With Chimera selected under boot loader section).

After installation of Multibeast your OS X will try to boot from HDD, if the booting stuck somewhere we can troubleshoot.

Remove all the devices connected to USB3.0 ports. Till you reaching the stable state connect only KB/MS to a USB 2.0 port. Remove all other accessories/devices.

Should I try to reinstall OS X on my PC a using the USB drive, formatting it as you said? I definitely remember formatting it. Or should I try to install it on a smaller 750GB solid state HDD?

When using MultiBeast I have always ensured that the Chimera v4.0.1 is always selected. I am wondering that it is not installing correctly as I am having to boot in "-x" mode (safe mode) so it may not work. This is all new for me, I'm not an expert but I'm learning.

Better reinstall the OS X with repartitioning of the HDD. (Ensure that no required datas are present on the HDD before going for a repartitioning, as the repartitioning will wipeout everything)

Follow the below linked guide for installation, in that guide it is clearly mentioned about how to do the repartitioning.

What I may have to do is create a new bootable USB as the one I'm using doesn't work properly any more for some reason. I think I partitioned the disk incorrectly which may be why it doesn't work as expected. I'll keep you posted on what happens.

Thanks.

Go ahead. Good Luck...!
