I'm interested in building a no compromise Hankintosh to run Openzfs on. I'd like it to match the high end Oracle servers which means 40 cores, 1TB or RAM and 10 PCIe 2.0 slots. A HP Proliant DL580 has the guts for such a build, but I understand out of the box servers are typically difficult because of the built in graphics.
My questions are: Can the built in graphics issue be overcome by installing a separate PCI graphics card? Aside from the graphics card issue would any other spec that I listed be an issue for turning a DL580 into a Hachintosh? If the DL580 can't be Hacked can one build such a machine piecemeal?
Thanks
John
