yosemite 10.10.1 achieved but not working sound applehda ?

I remember mic working fine on my laptop as well. Noticed it about a week ago when trying to make skype call. I'll try looking into it.
Anyway, thanks for helping me with AppleHDA.

I was just testing by SysPrefs->Sound, making some noise, just to verify the system sees audio input...

I do the same, the mic is detected but no input is displayed.

EDIT: Everything works after cold boot, after sleep microphone is only detected but there's no input level.
Interestingly on fedora it behaves the same, works only at cold boot and after sleep there is no input level anymore.
I will try it in Windows but I have to install it to pendrive cause I just run out of disks/partition space
