What build for an Audio Logic Dedicated machine?

Hi, I need a build that is powerful as I need to do audio production and development on it, currently I'm using my macbook pro 2.4ghz that I bought in 2011 and I've got to be honest it does tend to lag. I need a build that is powerful and fast for audio production and usual surfing the web.

My options:

i7 4770K Build
i7 3770K Build
i5 4670K or better

or I could go with a hp probook 4730s i7?

Now which one do you think I should go with, if I go with the laptop I will be able to take it around which will be great as you need to take to studio's etc, but I will lose power do you think the laptop will be much slower than one of the i7 system builds or do you think the little loss of power is worth the sacrifice?

You can do a similar one with a 4770K and Haswell Z87x motherboard.

Haven't used one as a CustoMac or with Windows. Check out the Laptops section
to get some ideas from probook users to see if it would work for what you'll
need.
