Trying to get WOL working on my build:

WOL works (via my Attansic L1) but only when the last OS loaded was Windows 7 and I have shut down from within Windows 7.

My Setup:
OS: Windows 7 and Snow Leopard 10.6.7

Attansic L1 (Built into the motherboard, use it for WOL)
I don't use this card, or have the kext installed for it in SL because I couldn't get it working in 64 bit.

Reltek 8139D - This is the card I use in Windows and SL for my connection to the internet.

Wake On Lan works with my Attansic L1. But ONLY if I have shut down from within windows.
I have so far been unsuccessful getting WOL working with my Realtek 8139D.

When I shut down from within Snow Leopard, my WOL stops working completely.

Any ideas?

1. Are there any network cards (PCI/PCI-E) compatible with Snow Leopard which show the "Wake Option" in Energy Saver (see here: http://visibleprocrastinations.files.wo ... ysaver.png)
My motherboard should allow WOL via PCI and PCI-E Devices.

2. Why when shutting down from within SL is it loosing the settings which are set on my L1? Do I need a DSDT for my motherboard to stop this from happening?

Thanks

I've got a little bit further on this, but don't think it wil help me get this working.

I borrowed my brothers MacBook and found:
1. That there is no option in the energy saver for WOL.
2. WOL only works to wake from sleep on OSX.

So, my next steps to try and get this working:
1. Get sleep working on my build - how?
2. Get my L1 working in 64bit - how? (or just do a test with 32bit)
3. DSDT for my motherboard - how?

Think I might try and find an old 40Gb Harddrive and do a setup on there.
