VLC Media Player for iPad and iPhone Now Available

I found that on both USA and Irish stores on the IOS App store (even following the link on this page) it didn't work but when I tried (again on both US and Irish) on the desktop itunes it worked (following the link)

I tried to install VLC on my iPhone 5 but it's not available in the UK or Singapore iTunes stores. I noticed on the VideoLAN website the binary .ipa file is available here: http://download.videolan.org/pub/videolan/vlc-iOS/2.0.1/vlc-iOS-2.0.1.ipa

However I get an error when syncing to my phone;

"iTunes Sync - 'VLC' failed to install"

Any ideas folks?

I notice another post about clicking the "Free" button in the iTunes store. This does indeed work. If you click the big VLC icon in the iTunes store you get the message "VLC is not available in the UK iTunes store"... but if you click the +Free button below the icon it will download.
