USB Dac recommendations?

My current build has some pretty annoying audio stuttering which I would like to fix with a USB DAC. The stuttering mostly comes after waking up from sleep, although lately it has even occured after a hard reboot.
Are there any recommendations for good valued USB DAC's? I'm assuming almost all are mac compatible since they are going through USB. My budget is around $100 although that is flexible.

I'm hoping my audio issue is not hardware related although whenever I get a chance i'm gonna do a fresh wipe and reinstall to see if that fixes my audio issues.

I have a Topping TP30. I really like it.
