Hi guys,

I had iMessage and FaceTime working well (after using the Chimera fix) in 10.8 and then upgraded to 10.8.2. Since the upgrade, I am now experiencing the iMessage and FaceTime errors again (Please try again later).

Any steps I can take to resolve this? I've tried reinstalling the Chimera fix, and also adding an extra 6 digits to my serial using Chameleon Wizard.

Copy of my boot logs (if that helps)

I'm having the exact same problem :banghead: Is there any way to get it working on 10.8.2? Also, i cant log into iCloud via system prefs. its giving me the same erroe message

Is your App Store working? Mine is, it just seems to be FaceTime & iMessage. I haven't checked iCloud (EDIT - iCloud working ok. Calendar is syncing).

No FaceTime or iMessage here either. iCloud works fine. I got kicked off on the day 10.8.3 came out at about the time apple released the patch to the public. I was running 10.8.2 at the time it kicked me. Interestingly enough I also got kicked off my Macbook Pro at the same time. I updated to 10.8.3 thinking that would fix it but only my Macbook Pro has been able to connect back since.

I do not recall the site but I just ran across it today. The problem is that Apple sent out a firmware update a few days ago. People that are currently logged into iMessage, etc are working just fine but as soon as they log out they cannot log back in. The consensus is a 40bit encrypted value that is being generated on the client side is now being included in the login process to validate computers. This change is part of the firmware update that went out. I cannot confirm this but that is what I have read.

One guy took his hackintosh hd out of his computer and put it in his wife's real mac and he was able to boot up and log into iMessage using the hackintosh build. He then put the same drive back into his hack-build and it wouldn't let him log in to iMessage.
