I apologize in advance for this being a total newb question but: What is the difference between UniBeast and MultiBeast? And if I am Hackintoshing an ASUS P8z77-Pro to install Snow Leopard specifically on an Ivy Bridge, what would be the better choice to use?

UniBeast installs the OS X and is a temp bootloader until you run Multibeast. Multibeast gets your system 100% like gets your system booting without UniBeast, gets network working, gets sound working, and so on. Since you want to install Snow Leopard with a Ivy bridge processor, you need to use iBoot Ivy Bridge first. I would recommend following this. http://www.tonymacx86.com/snow-leop...x-10-6-snow-leopard-ivy-bridge-based-pcs.html Definitely upgrade to Mountain Lion though. Snow Leopard is not built to support Ivy Bridge.
