Hi,

I'm trying to revert my machine back to Lion due to network compatability issues with mavericks. I've still got my copy of Lion from the App Store but every time I try to create the drive in UniBeast 3.0.1 it fails.

Here's your problem:

In your case, your version of Lion is probably out of date. (Rumor has it that Apple put date limits in the installers to keep the installers from being put on the bit-t*****t sites.) So, you'll have to re-download your copy of Lion:
  • Access the MAS from a Mac or hackintosh using the App Store application;
  • Holding down the Option key, select Purchases at the top line menu in the App Store Application;
  • You should see your Lion purchase - download it.
I just check my MAS Purchases, and my Lion purchase is there for downloading. (I'm downloading it now just confirm it can be re-downloaded.)

Thanks for your help.

A friend of mine helped me sort out the install drive when I built my hack two years ago- didn't realise they used a pirated copy of lion, hence I couldn't get it from my 'Purchases'. I ordered from here http://store.apple.com/uk/product/D6106ZM/A/os-x-lion on saturday and received the code today- currently downloading...
