That's just wierd.

What happens if you change the timeout string value to zero (0)? This should have the same result as the Instant Menu, but hopefully without the errors.

Appreciate all the help.

Tried that and in both cases the NTFS error still flashes up very quickly before the boot menu shows up but the Error Starting the Computer error seems to have disappeared.
