Hey everyone, im thinking about trying to run Os on my laptop this weekend as was wondering how great my chances are of getting everything working on my machine. Here are the Specs, Thanks!

I would install 10.11 first, then play with 10.12 beta later...

Would me dedicated NVIDiA card work? or do i need to disable it?
 
I did, however the FAQ says "Not if the discrete card is not dedicated" but mine is dedicated and also uses optimus. Ive been searching around but can not find a clear answer

Optimus means it is switched, not dedicated.
 
So after several hours of trying i cant seem to getmy computer to boot from the USB. I tried everything from messing with the BIOS settings along with several other things. I tried googling the problem with no luck. I am stuck, has anyone else had this problem??

If you have an issue...

Boot verbose, show photo. Attach EFI/Clover folder as ZIP (omit 'themes' folder).

Sounds like you setup Clover/BIOS UEFI incorrectly. Make sure you read post #2 of the Clover guide. Important instructions for dual boot and use of efibootmgr to set UEFI boot entries there.
