Hey guys, I've searched everywhere for this answer and I can't seem to find anything on it.:banghead: I have a Gigabyte Ga-z87x-ud5h motherboard which doesn't include a ThunderBolt port and I'm trying to add a TB PCIe card possibly? My main goal is to run an audio interface via TB (U.A Apollo Twin which only runs thunderbolt). I am running 10.8.5 Mt Lion OSX. Are there any PCIe cards that will work for this on this Mobo? Thanks in advance. Guess I should've went with the TH model, seeing it includes TB.

Thunderbolt PCIE cards require a Thunderbolt connector/header in addition to the PCIE slot. If your motherboard does not have a Thunderbolt add in card connector, a Thunderbolt card will not work.

hi, as far as im aware, only Mobos with a thunderbolt header on the board will work with TB expansion cards
