Hi, does anybody know of any succes with the new Broadwell i7 6800k. I'm considering using it with Gigabyte x99 ud4.
Is there af specific useful thread/link that I could use as a guide for installing OS X using Broadwell i7 6800k and Gigabyte x99 ud4?
I can't find any guides using Broadwell i7 6800k. Can I use guides with other CPU's. Is there a difference?

No I haven't got it to work yet. I can't find any good guides with this CPU yet. Its running Windows perfectly so I will wait until someone comes up with a detailed guide. I'll let you know.

Still no luck? I'm posting because I'm eager to hear of your eventual success with this chip.
 
Bummer, but I understand--it's a big challenge. I want to do a 6-core build, too, but will defer that til next year. Going to do a portable Mini-ITX system this year instead, using proven compatible parts. Much easier than the X99 beast.
 
I managed to make it work with my i7 6800K and MSI X99A Godlike gaming
