Hi Guys,

Got my i5 2500k running at 4.40ghz. Stable in Lion 10.7.5 and Windows 7.

Lion is great to use, seems very quick and smooth. The only problem is running geekbench I only get a 4500 score.

I'm using the sandy i5/i7 overclocked ssdt and the mac pro 5,1 smbios.

Also when I run geekbench it reports my cpu as 118mhz?? I installed using a dsdt. Full system specs are ;

i5 Sandy 2500k @ 44 multiplier giving 4.40ghz
12GB DDR3
GTX 560
Gigabyte GA-Z68AP-D3 Rev 1.0 with F10 bios

Got everything working, audio, lan, firewire etc

Try using your own generated ssdt + using a smbios which support sandybridge like iMac 12.

Awesome, thanks dude!!

Just gone from 4500 score to 11,000! It's only reporting my cpu as 3.69ghz, even though it's clocked at 4.4ghz. Anyway I can fix that too?

Weird... I rebooted and now it's back to 4.30ghz in about my mac and geekbench is back down to 4500 :(

It's still showing the new imac 12,2 though

Okay so:

- find ssdtPRGen
- when it's done type ./ssdtPRGen.sh 95 4400 in console and say yes at the end.
- launch chameleon wizard and in the "org.chamaleon" tab, tick drop ssdtPRGen, untick enable p and c states and c2/3/4 states.
- reboot and try
