Hi. I'm trying to choose a good build since I want it to be up to date for a long while. I've thought of the components to be used but it's my first time so I'd really appreciate any advice. I'd change any component if you thought it would be better in performance or price. Thanks in advance.

1. Case ----> Thermaltake Chaser MK-I
2. Processor ---> Intel Core i7 2600 3.4Ghz Box Socket 1155
3. Motherboard ---> Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD7
4. RAM ---> G.Skill Ripjaws X DDR3 2133 PC3-17000 8GB 2x4GB CL11
5. DVD Drive ---> Sony BD-5300S Writer DVD/Blu-Ray
6. GPU ---> Gigabyte Radeon HD 6870 OC 1GB GDDR5
Thanks!

Thanks!

Radeon 6950 is not supported at this time. If you want ATI, choose 6850 or 6870.

Ok. I've changed the GPU, what about my new choice? Less speed is cheaper is it worth to spend 40USD more for 40 MHz more? Talking about the MoBo I'm considering the Asus P8Z68 Deluxe which is a little more on budget than the Gigabyte and I don't se a huge difference. What do you think? I can't find the DSDT at TonyMac for neither boards...

What about the Asus GeForce GTX 560 DirectCU II OC 1GB GDDR5, will it be supported?

Thanks A Lot. Here's my updated list from what i've learned from your help and my friends. What do you guys think?

Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD7

OCZ Vertex 3 SATA3 2.5" SSD 120GB
Seagate Barracuda Green 2TB SATA3 64MB MAESTRO
Asus GeForce GTX 560 DirectCU II OC 1GB GDDR5
Corsair Vengeance PC3-12800 DDR3 1600 8GB 2x4GB CL9
Corsair TX850 V2 850W
Corsair Obsidian 650D
Corsair Cooling Hydro Series H80
Dell UltraSharp U2212HM 21.5" LED
Sony BD-5300S Grabadora DVD/Blu-Ray

I know, it's just in case I want to crossfire eventually ;)

My friend has 6870 crossfired with this psu

You could get a cheaper case but if you really like that case then keep it. People thought i was crazy for spending $100 on this case.

I loved the simplicity and sleekness of it and i had to buy it :)

Edit: Oops i didnt really read everything, i scimmed through it. When you said you plan on crossfiring i thought that meant you were getting a 6870, since crossfire = amd cards and Sli=NVIDIA cards. I dont think that psu can sli 560s since their a little bit better then 6870s.

So what's the news on ASUS DSDTs?

I am not a fan of gigabyte after the dreadful customer service I have endured this week. My ga-z68mx-ud2h-b3 randomly got stuck in an infinite boot loop, and they have no phone tech support. I'm still waiting for an email back from them, and it doesn't look like I'll have a working machine by mid october. YMMV, but mine has been ghastly.

-UPDATE- If you buy through Amazon, they have EXCELLENT customer service! I submitted a return request yesterday, and my new board arrived today! I am an Amazon Prime member if that has anything to do with it, but currently I am thrilled that I don't have to wait for weeks to get my system back up and running.
