Am not going into the complete ins and outs of this build its been done before, anyone attempting to to do a project like this needs to do their homework first.
Enjoy your build and i hope my own gives you insight towards your goal. ;) :p

Get your grounding right or this will not work, not all PSU,s are grounded through the PCB.

Thats it really folks, 2 arctic cooling F9,s PWM (hot swap used original apple fan socket) fans for intake, 2 F8 outtake and an F8 for PCI bay, all controlled by motherboard.
I was going to use original fans, but a lot of people saying that they are very loud, so didn't bother.
I may turn thee HDD cage around cut short just to fit another along side but we,ll see what happens.
Any questions at all i,ll glady answer them.
Hope ya,s like the build, nothing special but very neat and tidy. :p

I was wondering how you got the 2 HDD tray pieces together? Did you just bond it together and screwed the tray from the bottom?

Sudds is right, the HDD cage in the G5 is one and only holds 2 HDDs.

Mine are too. Is yours a late 2005 model too? That might be why.
