OK, in terminal write:

softwareupdate --list-full-installers

look for a version you like, then do

Softwareupdate --fetch-full-installer --full-installer-version 14.x.x

select a version you see in the list when you do softwareupdate --list-full-installers

you have to replace 14.x.x with one that appear in the list.
try again

My guess would be that the SMBIOS of the machine that he is using to download does not meet the qualifying criteria for Sonoma.

Hi both. Is it really correct to use CPUFriend*.kext's AND CpuTopologyRebuild.kext together?!? I thought you should only use ONE method? No need for -lilubeta boot-argument. -lilubeta shure not needed! it's probably an old typo or the result of some try... and then I will have forgotten to...
