Here's what I have so far (should be in signature as well):

Thermaltake Commander MS-I Snow Edition Case
Gigabyte Z77-DS3H Motherboard
i7 3770k Processor
8GB Corsair Memory
MSI 24X DVD +/-

Everything seems to be working. The only things I installed from Multibeast are:
  • UserDSDT or DSDT-Free Installation
  • Realtek ALC887/888b Current Audio Drivers
  • Network: Maolg's AtherosL1cEthernet

Questions: This is my first self-build. I'm a little nervous about checking other options... I want to stay away from Kernel Panics. Am I missing anything by not installing anything else? Also, is there a benefit to installing other System Definitions? Does it matter which one I pick?

Congrats. I just Bought the same motherboard.

I don't have access to an Apple computer so I'm trying to figure out how to make my uni beast USB.

How is the performance? Graphics?

So far, I love it! Performance is great, although I haven't really stressed it much yet. I've got quite a lot of data to transfer, etc. Graphics seem fine, but again, I haven't really been able to stress it much. I'm also using the onboard video card for now, however, if this is the worst it gets, I'm very pleased!

I definitely do not regret following the guide to the letter... worked incredibly well with minimal fuss.
