Hey thunder!

pleaaaaaaaseee! Hahahaha we need a guide!!
i have almost the same system as you and my 2600k overheated and even burned a litttle then i got a kernel panic. I guess this is because of the cpupowermanagement. When I boot in -x I can use it, bur of course everything is laggy and imessage wont work. Im currently on bios 2103.
P8p67 deluxe B3
gtx 570
8gb ram
asus xonar xense (which i assume wont be compatible, so ill have to use oboard audio)
How did you mod the bios?
I would really be so grateful because Im really f***** scared to totally destroy my cpu, it still works but who knows if it will if it overheats again.

I have the same configuration except bios version (2103 modded). After a new installation of mavericks I have some problems: my system crash after some hours and sometimes hangs. Safari, chrome and firefox crash always and sometimes I can't move the mouse and I need to reset. Do you have any problems?

Another question: I have installed 3rd party sata from multibeast, but I see Generic AHCI controller. Do you see the correct controller or not?

Hi Angy82,

No problems found here with Mavericks ...
Works almost out of the box with some drivers from the last multibeast.

Maybe you can try check with power-save off.
And try fresh install with no drivers at all, if still have problems then you have to check your hardware
(not overclocking if got a problem, bad memory)

PS Why change or update BIOS if everything works fine ?

Thanks for your answer. I have already changed ram, but the problem persists. There isn't any power safe active because my pc is 24/24 on (exept these damn crashes )
With windows 8 I don't have any problem, also with a previous ML edition.
Which DSDT are you using?

Did you use UniBeast and MultiBeast to get Mavericks running?

I tryed Voodoo 2.7.3 and got kernel panic =(
On Mavericks, but same motherboard
