something strange has happened to myP55A-UD3 so now my hack will play sounds like movies and youtube and stuff like that but it will not play any sound effects at all, like for audium or even the stok sounds that mac comes with, what is goin on? this is weird, like i said i can play music and movies and sound and all works but no sound effects lol

Is the correct output device configured in System Preferences -> Sound -> Sound Effects?
