Still don't get the 10.6.8 Update working on i5-2500!

Hello.
I've tried UpdateHelper on my ASUS P8P67 and i5-2500 to update on 10.6.8 but it didn't work. So even if the update works great after restarting the PC it stucks at the Bootscreen. How to get it work anyway?
