Soundcard

Hello,

I'm having this problem that after sleep my graphics card doesn't wake a 100% , this is only with the mac pro system definition, with imac it works fine. But when using anything else than mac pro the sound cracks. So I want to get a USB sound card to get both working.

So my question is, what sound card to get? I only use a green jack and would like to have the same audio quality as the on board audio (or better of course) !

Thank you so much! Just a quick question tough, this isn't bad for the onboard sound card is it?

Don't think so. I'm quite sure the reason OS X turns off the sound system is for power conversation and not for prolonging the life of the sound chip.

yeah I also think so since the maker says something about shorter battery life
