Hey Hackintoshers

First time builder here. I am using the MacMini build by Tony:


CPU: Intel Core i3-2105 with Intel HD 3000 Graphics -
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H67N-USB3-B3
RAM: CORSAIR 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3
Case + Power Supply Unit: APEX MI-008 Mini-ITX with 250w PSU
256GB SATA HD

I used Unibeast on a USB HD (app store installer) to format the partition, renamed it Lion and installed OS X. However, after reboot with iBoot, the system hangs on the apple logo.

I did change SATA to AHCI mode, and set HPET to 64-bit mode.

Might I be able to use a Time Machine restore from a Macbook?

I don't think the TM B/U will work as it doesn't have the necessary boot loader and kexts required to run on non-Apple hardware.

iBoot doesn't work with Lion, do you mean rBoot? Did you try adding boot flags? GraphicsEnabler=NO might help.

I tried using iBoot with my snow leopard DVD to do a traditional install but now after selecting the install DVD from the menu I am given an ebios error. I tried switching the optical drive from a SATA6 to SATA3 but still experienced the error....

I am then taken to an OSX screen that says "You need to restart your computer..."

I've tried loading the DVD with variations of -x / GraphicsEnabler=NO

Edit:

I'm going to try a Unibeast Lion install again as I suspect my Sandy Bridge is incompatible with SL (?).

Try booting with the code PCIRootUID=0

And make sure that you have your hdd selected not the usb

And have you tried other install methods?

Lion install with Unibeast worked wonderfully with '-v GraphicsEnabler=NO'

I am only left with some audio issues (No sound at all) on H67N-USB3 F9

You have to make sure to install the audio drivers in multibeast
