I carbon copied my boot drive to my backup drive and got that running with the user dsdt and chimera setup. This resolved my about mac issues as far as cpu and correct ram speed recognition, but DVD player is still not working and I had to remove sleep enabler to get it to boot. The system is also noticeably slower. My backup is a 7200 rpm HDD while my main boot is SSD so I can understand the speed differences to an extent, but...

Is there something I should look at that would resolve some of these issues? Any ideas?

sharing is caring mate.

someone might have the same issue and come across your solution.

Re: Updating to DSDT Chimera issues

Basically when you install DSDT you want to install chimera as well from multibeast and remove sleep enabler and nullcpupowermanagement. then use the stand alone chimera installer to update it to the most current version.
