Hello am trying to build EFI folder for dell latitude e5430, am new to hackintosh.
I followed Dortanias guide for open-core 0.9.1, but i cant get to boot the Big Sur.
I get past the drive selection.
I tried searching errors from debug log but it gave me no usable results.
I have working EFI folder, but its based on old version of open-core (0.6.9) and similar hardware.(included in attachments for reference)

My hardware is:
dell latitude e5430 non-pro
Intel core i7-3236QM Ivy Lake
12 GB DDR3 RAM
Intel HD graphics 4000 2GB-vram
500GB SATA SSD
BCM4313 802.11bgn Wireless Network Adapter <--- Ill be replacing with BCM94322HM8L
NetXtreme BCM5761 Gigabit Ethernet

Am Including everything that could be of help in attachments. And I thank you for any help in advance.

Those are line with ERR from open-core log.

you are using the wrong smbios for your hardware

also lilu.kext should be listed first

Thank you for fast response,

I fixed the lilu.kekxt.
I know am using wrong smbios. I had error this mac is unsuported when using the smbios MacBookPro10,1 which should be the closest to my hardware.

MacBookPro10,1 should be fine for Big Sur

use the files from the guide

I went through your guide as you recommended. I still get this error. Am using your efi folder you provide, I only edited config.plist as was described in second post.

Ill provide efi folder config and debug log from when using supported smbios with your config.plist.

Here are promised logs, config, and whole efi folder.

seems strange as 10,1 is compatible

give this a go and generate some serials:

another option is to give Catalina a try

don't forget to reset nvram when you make any efi/bios changes

You are using a system definition that is not supported by the version of the OS that you are attempting to install.

Even after generating smbios issue remains. Ill just stick to oc 0.6.9.
