I didn't say you can't I said you shouldn't. Using any patched system files at all is a bad idea. I see many people do this and come crying to chat when an update breaks their system. Stay away from them and keep your system as vanilla as possible and updates will be a breeze.


The wake reason will be in the system logs you just need to use the Console app under Utilities to find it.

My Asus P8Z77-V uses a flashed BIOS (can't remember where I downloaded it) and I'm not using any DSDT or SSDT (DSDT-Free Install).

I had a filter : wake reason. Here is one with everything when I put my Hackintosh to sleep :

Ok I suggest you disable that hibernation and see if it helps.

Open Terminal and enter sudo pmset -a hibernatemode 0
