Hello,
I'm looking to install ML on my Sager NP9170. It's general specs are as follows:
Core Logic: Intel HM77 chipset
CPU: Intel Core i7 Quad Core 3610QM 2.3GHZ
Graphics Card: AMD HD 7970M 2GB DDR5 (Won't be able to get this working- Will be happy with Intel HD4000)
RAM: 16GB DDR3 (1600) Dual Channel
Hard Drive: 120GB Intel SSD (330)
Second HDD: 500GB (7200RPM)
Connectivity: 802.11BGN WiFi + Bluetooth Combo Card
I now have a bootable usb install drive with 10.8.2 created using unibeast and modified to be able to install on an MBR disk. Things were looking great up until I hit kernel panics "Waiting for appleSMC" & "this is an unknown CPU model 0x3a" (checked attached screenshots) when I attempted to boot up from the usb drive.
I have yet to find out which flag produces the appleSMC panic. Will try them all again and post which it is.
Anyways,
If anyone has any ideas, hit me up please =]
