Preview Crashing

After running mavericks without issue for several months, I've suddenly started experiencing a crash every time I try to open an image with preview.

Processor 3.69 GHz Intel Core i7

Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 3072 MB

I had the same issue and have almost the same specs as you ( GTX 780 3 GB etc…). I found that the Graphic Driver had switched over to OS X default driver, not Nvidia Web Driver as it should. I don't know really why it had done that but switching back solved the problem for me.

My issue with preview was fixed by reinstalling Quicktime Pro.
