Play Blu-rays on the Fly on OS X with Free Mac Blu-ray Player

I'm using MKV and then VLC to play the .mkv files. It's the only reliable solution on OS X in my opinion.

+1 This works flawlessly. No menus, but 1080p smooth playback and subtitles available, should you want them. Ripping is great, but if you want to simply *play a disc* on demand, the VLC additions are the best option.

According to that website, the free version won't play in 1080p.

VLC Player will play blu-rays after adding these files to the library.

i have use VLC for free on mac to play some blu ray disc, and others i use UFUSoft Mac Blu-ray Player.
