I have 2 HDD drives one with 2 partitions, one is an 10.8.2 ML installation from my old build with an GA P35 DS3 that kp´s also ( old CPU then was Q8200, no SB).
On the other partition I installed a fresh 10.8.2 which gives also KP on startup.
The second drive is Win7.

I use no DSDT, followed this guide http://www.tonymacx86.com/mountain-...-dvi-hdmi-audio-sleep-wake-ethernet-usb3.html
also this basic guide: http://www.tonymacx86.com/buying-advice/73558-z77-matx-motherboards-os-x.html with the new patched BIOS 1805 since the old one ( 1504) isnt available. I only can boot with the USB stick and -x into the new install.
On the board both the EPU and TPU switch are stock disabled. I use iGPU, 32MB.

I installed OSX on that board last weekend. At the beginning I had a lot of problems, but after I did stick to the guide I didn't have any problems. With the HD4000 graphics I had no problems!

Patched the BIOS, set the BIOS to all the settings from the "dummies" guide. Boot and install from Unibeast stick, reboot from stick, select installed drive and boot with -x -v, install Multibeast setting from "Z77 mATX Motherboards and OS X" Guide + FakeSMC.

Only for my GTX 670 I had to select "GraphicsEnabler=No" and used the DSDT from "jambek2003": http://www.tonymacx86.com/dsdt/85383-dsdt-asus-p8z77-m-pro-12.html

tried all that BIOS settings, no difference. Is there maybe an overclocking feature activated by default on the board?
FakeSMC in Multibeast also installed ( although this isnt described in any ´stock A8Z77m-Pro´ install procedures)
..immediate KP after loading the kexts, ACPI related. I also tried to manually delete these kext as described in the above thread (for DSDT)..but no.

I use iGPU till the install is fine then swap my HD6870..

no, the HD6870 is fine, I never had any probs on the older 10.8.2 installation..

HA! some success here, I managed to get the original first ML partition to boot after deleting the OLD DSDT from its EXTRA( from the P35 DS3 , forgot about that! ) ..repair permissions..boot.

now CCCing..hope this will get the two partitions to boot correctly.

actually, can a KP be caused by different formatting?
..for the new ML install I just erased and did it MBR nor GUILD on its partition because I didnt want to format the whole HDD..
