Hey all,
I've been working on OC'ing my new hack and had a few issues. Basically, any change I made in BIOS (clock speed, etc) wasn't recognized by OSX. In fact, if I used anything other than "Optimized Settings", Geekbench would score 6k. If using Optimized Settings, I score 11-12k.
It was a fresh install of Lion (using the TonyMac guide of course!). Everything worked just fine. I did try to install the SSDT from Multibeast...but that didn't change anything. I toyed with the idea of editing the SSDT but am too chicken.
What fixed my problem? My Hack was recognized as a Mac Pro (3,1). I changed it to an iMac (12,2) and now it recognizes my OC settings. I ended up using Chameleon Wizard for it. Link is here:
