Yes, above card is not supported in OS X
As for replacement, just search "card 4530S" on ebay. Plenty to choose from for $10

Got the card, did the swap, and boom, have wifi now as an option.

Now new problem,

i just swapped my display out to 1080p and it looks great. However now i only have wifi access if i stand 2 feet from my access point?

Time to take it back apart. Whats the most common mistake or issue with the wifi wires?

check if the antenna wires are connected well, also double check if you haven't swapped BT and WiFi antennas!
