Figured it out.
Long story short. Delete your current ktext files associated with the audio. AppleHDA and the Realtek drivers.
then re-run the Multibeast app.
then follow the guide.
then reboot
Enjoy your sound!
This method really really do the work! I lost my sound after upgrade to 10.8.2. It complained something like "callxxxxxIO.kext" not installed properly even after I reinstalled audio driver by multibeast. Then I followed this method that first deleted the AppleHDA.kext under /System/Library/.Extension. Redo the multibeast install still gave me the "callxxxxxIO.kext" error but after system reboot the sound is back.
