Hi Toleda. Let me copy my latest post about my audio problem after upgrading to 10.11.6:

Today I updated to 10.11.6 in my x99 system and the audio is driving me crazy!!
In other updates, like 10.11.4 or 10.11.5, I had to resintall full audio, and I tried same ways this time.

1) Use updated piker alpha command
2) Restart.

Nothing, I tried too reinstalling native applehda from 10.11.5, multibeast, and so...

I clear all config and audio files and redo all audio installation without success. I tried clover alc command, realtek alc command, piker alpha command, and new clover alc for 10.12 command. No success.

Here you are my config.plist and my ioreg.

Toleda, I followed your guide, as always, but this time without success and I don't know why :S

By the way, as my system is x99, I have to boot with csractiveconfig 0x67 instead of 0x3. Whit 0x3 the system does not boot, even with osxaptionfix2... But with 0x67, the commands work perfectly in shell, but without audio devices after restart.

I followed this:
X99/Intel High Definition Audio (Workaround requires 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5), 10.11/credit bOLEMO
  1. Rename dsdt/ALSA to HDEF (Select one method)
    1. Clover: Download/config-audio_cloverALC-x99.plist.zip
      • Add config.plist/ACPI/DSDT/Patches/Rename ALZA to HDEF
    2. ssdt injection (any bootloader):
  2. Restart
  3. Install Realtek ALC Audio (see Realtek ALC Installation Methods)
  4. Add x99 HD Audio device_id (Select one method)
    1. Clover: Download/config-audio_cloverALC-x99.plist.zip (Select one, appropriate version)
      • Add config.plist/KernelAndKextPatches/KextsToPatch/10.10-10.11+x99-ALC-Onboard-Audio
      • Add config.plist/KernelAndKextPatches/KextsToPatch/110.9.4-10.9.5-x99-ALC-Onboard-Audio
    2. Patched AppleHDA.kext (RealtekALC)
  5. Restart

Problem:
Prelink failed for com.apple.driver.AppleHDA; omitting from prelinked kernel.
Likely caused by:
kext-dev-mode allowing invalid signature -67062 0xFFFFFFFFFFFEFA0A for kext AppleHDA892.kext
Audio never works when more than one method is installed. Remove any previous attempts before proceeding with another method.

Toleda,

I appreciate your help with the following (sorry for noobness):

1. After implementing iMessages fix= the only audio device that shows is my headset. But speakers do not work.

2. 10.11.6: Same exact as Stork Gene VIII Maximus building; running BIOS 1902 (latest); processor i5-6900; gtx 950

3. In Multibeast, tried selecting 1150 and 100 series; also tried just 1150 and just 100 series.

4.
File: audio_codecdetect.command_v1.6

HDMI audio codec(s)

Onboard audio codec
Realtek: 0x10ec0900
Error: no IOReg/HDEF; BIOS/audio/disabled or ACPI problem; FIX:
BIOS problem, set BIOS/.../HD Audio/Enabled
ACPI problem, try:

9. I click on “All Messages” and don’t know where to pull up Kernel - Sound Assertions.

10. Not sure what to do here…

11. N/A

12-2. For some reason, won't let me upload the bootlog I copied into a RTF (textedit) file. Should I post here?
