they look nice, but I'm not impressed with the specs.
especially that nvidia 640 and only a 32GB SSD for ~1200.

Well it is a Mobile chip, and I expect that's just the baseline.

Vizio products may look fairly dapper, but their quality and after-sale support is lower than low. A relatively large proportion of their HDTVs failed after about a year and the company's response was essentially to tell consumers to dump it and just get another new one.
Somehow, the chance that I'd spend money on products with that brand is quite rare.

SmertZ

I bought a Vizio Tv from Costco and it did need a warranty repair, but they sent two men to do the repair and all was well.
I bought a panasonic plasma and it needed a repair as well.
So...

Now, Vizio used to be a good value, but I've seen their prices running closer and closer to top tier manufacturers and I admit I am not interested in Vizio at the prices they are currently selling for, not this computer and not their TV's. A 32GB SSD is basically a give away, it is like a $10 part for them. For this price they should have a better mobile GPU.

If this was around 800 then I'd be interested.

One thing I'll give you is that it looks pretty dapper.

But compare it to a 27" iMac...

It's pretty sharp, but the display is NOWHERE NEAR the calibre of a 27" iMac.

True that. Can't wait till PC's get the High High Res screens.

It only lacks a display port input. I believe thats the only way I could use Intel HD4000. I don't think my mobo DVI is "dual link", so it won't support the resolution. Looks like I'd need a video card.
